What’s Fanciful French?

Fanciful French was born from a family language learning project. After moving to France, and with a decent knowledge of French already in hand, we attempted to grasp the nuances of the spoken language. We soon realized that there was much more to it than what we had learned in school. Thus, we embarked on a journey to discover French expressions and idioms, understanding their meanings and origins. And since we were learning them ourselves, why not share our findings with others?

Note: We use generative AI to generate images. Some paragraphs are either generated or corrected using generative AI as well. Research for this site is done using generative AI and other well established websites that we usually mention in each post. Our goal for ourselves and for those who follow us is to “Make French sayings stick!” and we try to put all this together in a way that is fun and easy to remember.
